Dundee Law and the best viewpoint walk

Short but steep, the walk up Dundee Law is one of the most rewarding in the city. The climb is fairly brief, but the views from the top are well worth it.

Start near the Law War Memorial car park and follow the path as it winds its way up the hillside. Along the way, there are several spots to pause and take in the view before reaching the summit, where you’ll be met with sweeping views across Dundee, the Tay and the surrounding landscape.

You can return the same way or come down via the north path towards Dudhope Park.

For an even more memorable visit, time your walk for early morning or later in the day and watch the light change over the city.
