The Flow of Your Day
Your ceremony takes place in the Buddon Burn Suite, which is exclusively yours for the whole day. In summer, the doors at the far end open onto the outdoors, creating a beautiful sense of bringing the outside in.
After the ceremony, your guests are welcomed with a glass of prosecco, a bottle of beer or a soft drink, while the dividing curtain to Inglesmaldie remains closed. During the drinks reception, we’ll circulate among your guests with a selection of delicious canapés, giving everyone the chance to relax, mingle and enjoy a drink while you take some time for photographs.
When it’s time for the wedding breakfast, the curtain opens to reveal the beautifully prepared room. Once all your guests are seated, we’ll make the announcement for you to make your grand entrance into the room. This will then lead into the speeches, allowing everyone to settle in and enjoy this special part of the day together.
Once the speeches have finished, we’ll begin food service, allowing you and your guests to relax and enjoy the wedding breakfast.
Later, while Inglesmaldie is transformed for the evening celebrations, your guests return to Buddon Burn, where a private bar awaits. The room turnaround takes approximately an hour, giving everyone time to relax, enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere before the evening reception begins.
