We didn’t want to scrimp on the luxuries that are in our current lodges, so you’ll be surprised at how much we managed to fit into the huts. Inside each one you’ll find a fully-fitted kitchen complete with a Butler sink, integrated fridge, combination microwave, induction hob and all the crockery and cutlery you’ll need. There’s more! Underfloor heating, a TV plus, a bathroom with an Edwardian shower, heated towel rail and a toilet (phew!).
Shepherd Huts – New Glamping Holidays Scotland
We spent lockdown coming up with innovative ways to develop the resort, including investing in some exciting projects. The first of those projects was the complete refurbishment of all of our lodges, the second was the investment in four sensational Shepherd’s Huts. We have teamed up with Greendown Shepherds Huts, who have been busy hand-crafting two incredible timber-clad structures using only the best materials. The huts are nestled in with nature, complete with waterside views and hot tubs.
Outside of the huts, you’ll step out onto a private space with lush Astroturf, where you can make the most of al fresco dining, or take a dip in the hot tub with waterside views during the day, which turn to stargazing at night.
Whether you want to put your feet up and (literally) watch the world go by with our stargazing windows (think glamping under the stars) or fling open the French doors and head for an adventure in the Angus countryside, there is something for everyone. With a perfect balance of activity and calm, you can plan a few days away from the grindstone and enjoy laid-back luxury on a Scottish staycation.
