Junior Golf

Big smiles, new skills and a love of golf that lasts a lifetime.

At Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort, we believe golf is about so much more than hitting a ball. It’s an opportunity for children to get outdoors, build confidence, make new friends and discover a sport they can enjoy for years to come.

Junior golf offers children the perfect mix of fun, learning and fresh air. Whether they’re picking up a golf club for the first time or developing their skills on the course, golf encourages patience, concentration and perseverance, helping young players grow in confidence both on and off the course.

Why is golf great for children?

  • Builds confidence: Every new skill, successful shot and personal achievement helps children believe in themselves.
  • Encourages an active lifestyle: Golf gets children outdoors, moving and enjoying the benefits of fresh air and exercise.
  • Develops focus and patience: Learning to plan each shot and stay focused helps children develop valuable skills that extend beyond golf.
  • Teaches respect and sportsmanship: Golf encourages honesty, good manners, respect for others and care for the environment.
  • Creates friendships: Sharing the experience of learning and playing golf is a great way for children to meet others, work together and have fun.
  • Offers a sport for life: Starting young gives children the chance to develop a lifelong passion for golf, creating opportunities to enjoy the game with friends and family for years to come.
